Mexican Creamed Honey Hot Chocolate
Xocolatl is a spiced, chocolate drink that was popular with Aztecs and Mayans. It's a rich drink with chili, vanilla and cinnamon that can be enjoyed hot or cold.

- 1 13.5 ounces can of full-fat coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup Mexican Chocolate Creamed Honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 dash cayenne
- 1 dash of sea salt
- 1 dash cinnamon (optional)
- Whipped cream
Place coconut milk, water, and honey in a blender. Puree on high speed until smooth. Blend in vanilla, chili, cayenne, cinnamon, and salt. Heat mixture in a saucepan until warm. Divide into mugs and top with whipped cream and a drizzle of honey.
