Why it tastes like this

Spring in the Bay Area means pollen in the air. Here’s the local stuff – from the same flowers, on your side this time.

About this honey

Spring is coming. Your sinuses know. This is the Allergy Pre-Game – a daily spoonful of local bee pollen, collected from the same Silicon Valley flowers that make your eyes water every March. Granular, crunchy, golden-orange, with a slightly bitter, earthy taste that grows on you. Sprinkle it on acai bowls, blend it into smoothies, or just toss it back straight. Mike's bees collected it. Niki dried and packed it. Real beekeeper pollen from where you live.

Questions we get.

How much is shipping?

Free over $50. Under $50 it is $5.99. Pick up is free at 3495 S Bascom Ave, Campbell.

My honey turned hard or cloudy. Is it bad?

No. That is crystallization, and it is natural. It is what real honey does. Set the jar in a bowl of warm water, stir gently, and it turns liquid again. Same honey.

Is it really raw and never blended?

Yes. Raw, and never blended. Each jar comes from the hives of one neighborhood or one bloom, so Saratoga stays Saratoga.
