A private, hands-on encounter at our historic South Bay apiaries – touch the legacy of the original 1,939 acres, meet the bees, and taste honey straight from the source. Two ways to join us:
- Bee Talk – $45/person (2-person minimum): A guided talk and honey tasting at our working apiary. No suit. Learn how a real apiary runs, hear the story, taste the difference local raw honey makes – and take home an 8oz jar of honey.
- Money Shot – $75/person (3-person minimum): Everything in the Bee Talk, plus suit up in full protective gear, hold a live frame of bees in your own hands, and get the photo that proves you did it. Take home a jar of our honey.
Priced per person – choose how many guests at checkout. Every experience is private – just your group.
Kids 9 and up are welcome for the Money Shot, as long as they fit standard protective gear. Little ones under 9 can join us for the Bee Talk.

⚠️ WAIVER REQUIRED
This is a hands-on experience – you will be in direct contact with live honey bees. Every participant must sign a liability waiver before suiting up. One parent/guardian signature covers the whole family.
Paper waivers also available on-site.
Safety & Liability:
- Participation Waiver: A signed liability release and safety acknowledgment is strictly required for all participants prior to entering the apiary. Participants must be 9+ years old to fit standard protective gear for the Money Shot.
- Risk Acknowledgment: Honeybees are essential, living creatures, and while we provide full protective suiting, stings are a natural possibility. Participation constitutes acceptance of this inherent heritage risk.
The "Private Booking" Commitment:
- Non-Refundable Experience: Our hives and heritage hosts are prepared exclusively for your private session. Because of this dedicated preparation, we do not offer refunds or credits for guests who choose not to enter the apiary upon arrival.
- The Takeaway: Should you choose not to enter the hive area, your session fee remains non-refundable, and you will still take home your jar of honey to enjoy the legacy at home.
