A private, hands-on visit to our working South Bay apiaries – suit up, open a real hive, and pull honey with your own hands. Mike runs the bees, Niki tells the story, and every visit is just your group.
The arc: waiver signed in advance → safety talk → suit up (giggles guaranteed) → practice on empty hives → ease into a real hive at your own pace → pull honey straight from the frame and taste it warm → sit down for the full tasting, our chilled honey water, and your questions. We film it all on tripods – you leave with your own selfies holding the frame and the smoker, plus a group shot.
- Bee Talk – $45/person: The talk plus a guided honey tasting. No suit. Take home an 8oz jar.
- Money Shot – $95/person: Everything in the Bee Talk, plus you suit up, hold a live frame, and get the photo.
- Kids 16 and under – $85/person (Money Shot): Families are welcome – kids have their own price, honor system, just tell us how many at booking.
- Boy Bee Upgrade – $5/guest: Hold a Boy Bee, the gentle stingless drone, for the photo.
- Group Bee Talk – $38/adult, $33/kid (groups of 10–30): Same talk, same tasting, priced for a crowd.
Money Shot visits cap at 8 suited guests per day, shared across that day's two time slots; Bee Talk (talk-only) visits run up to 30. Corporate outing or over 30? Text us for a custom quote.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes (Crocs don't count), jeans rather than thin leggings, skip the perfume. We suit everyone up – sizes XS–XXL in stock; we can't promise every size fits every guest, so tell us early. It's a working farm with no restroom on site, so plan ahead.

This is a hands-on experience – you'll be in direct contact with live honey bees. Every participant signs a liability waiver in advance. One adult signature covers the whole group. Paper waivers also available on-site.
Safety & Booking Policies:
- Yes, stings are possible, just in case – we run a safety talk, full suits, and practice hives before anyone approaches a live one, and we pace every guest.
- Reschedule free 72+ hours out. Full refund if you cancel 96+ hours (4 days) out. No-shows aren't refunded.
- Bad weather always gets a free reschedule – we push to move your date first.
