Frequently Asked Questions
What happens on a Bee Experience tour?
You'll visit a working apiary with Mike, open a hive, see the queen, watch bees at work, learn about pollination and honey production, and taste honey straight from the frame. We provide all protective gear.
Is it safe?
Yes. We provide full bee suits and veils. Mike has been doing this for over a decade and manages every interaction. Bee stings are extremely rare with proper gear and guidance.
How do I book?
Check the available dates below and book directly. Group sizes are small to ensure a quality experience. Private tours available for groups of 6+.
A client is flying in from Texas this week for a Bee Experience – is that normal?
More common than you'd think. We've had visitors put us on their West Coast vacation itinerary. People drive from Pleasanton, Los Gatos, Half Moon Bay – and now they fly in too.
