From Our Hives to Your Spoon
Every jar of Mike & Niki's honey tells you exactly where it came from – not a region, not a state, but your neighborhood. Our apiaries are scattered all over Silicon Valley, from Campbell to Half Moon Bay, Santa Clara to the Peninsula hills. Mike tends every one of them. This is real beekeeper honey, from where you live.
No middlemen. No blending facility. No mystery sourcing. The bees work your local flowers, Mike pulls the frames, and it lands in a jar with a city name on it. That's what Hive to Spoon means.
Taste Your Zip Code
Honey isn't generic – it's a snapshot of what's blooming in your neighborhood right now. Our Campbell Wildflower tastes nothing like our Half Moon Bay or our Carneros. Different flowers, different terroir, different seasons. When you open a jar of local honey, you're tasting the pollen profile of your own backyard.
We've been doing this for 13 years. We're the last farm in Campbell, California – and we're not going anywhere.
Pollination Services
Healthy bees need healthy forage, and healthy farms need pollinators. We place hives on farms, orchards, vineyards, and gardens across the South Bay and beyond. Our bees pollinate crops while building the diverse nectar sources that make our honey extraordinary.
If you're a farmer, orchardist, or community garden coordinator – we want to talk. Hosting hives means better yields for you and better honey for everyone.
- Orchards and vineyards – almond, cherry, apricot, grape
- Urban farms and community gardens
- Corporate campuses and school gardens
- Private estates with acreage
Bee Education & Community
Mike is the President of the Santa Clara Bee Guild. Mike and Niki teach beekeeping, pollination science, and bee biology to schools, community groups, and organizations across the Bay Area. Bees are struggling to thrive – and we answered the calling.
We partner with community organizations that share our values, including programs that create meaningful work opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. This isn't charity – it's how a real local business operates.
We use organic methods on organic farms. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices. We carry liability insurance. We pay overtime and carry workers' comp. See what we do – don't take our word for it.
