Mike's apiaries there catch what most people drive past without noticing – the hundred small gardens and the heritage trees that still line the streets. This honey is medium-bodied with a slightly herbal, almost mentholated edge from the eucalyptus. Pours a deep gold. Good on cheese, better on toast, best straight off the spoon.
