What Our Customers Say

Raw honey from the Livermore and Fremont areas of the East Bay – where the Diablo Range meets the valley floor. Our bees work apiaries in one of the Bay Area's warmest growing zones, producing bold, full-flavored honey.

What Makes Livermore/Fremont Honey Special

The Tri-Valley and southern East Bay get more heat than the coastal side of the Bay, which means different flowers bloom here – and they bloom hard. Star thistle, wild mustard, and dry-land wildflowers create a honey that's noticeably bolder than our coastal varietals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Livermore/Fremont honey come from?

From apiaries maintained by Mike in the Livermore Valley and Fremont areas of Alameda County – on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay.

Why is East Bay honey different from South Bay honey?

The East Bay is warmer and drier, with more grassland and less coastal influence. The vegetation is different – more star thistle, more dry-climate wildflowers. It makes for a bolder, more assertive honey.
