Año Nuevo Honey – Wild Coastal Honey
Raw, unfiltered honey from the wild coastal landscape of Año Nuevo, California. Elephant seals, redwoods, and wildflowers – this is honey from the edge of the continent.
What Makes Año Nuevo Honey Unique?
Año Nuevo sits on the rugged San Mateo County coastline, miles from the nearest suburb. Our bees forage on native coastal wildflowers, coyote brush, wild mustard, coastal scrub, and the unique flora of one of California's most pristine coastal zones. No suburban gardens. No manicured landscapes. Just wild California.
The Place
- Año Nuevo State Park – Home to the famous elephant seal colony
- Big Basin Redwoods – Ancient redwood forests nearby
- Highway 1 – One of America's most beautiful stretches of coastline
Limited Production
Año Nuevo honey is a limited production varietal – the remote location and seasonal access mean we harvest in smaller quantities than our South Bay varieties. When it's available, it goes fast.
