A Real Honey Farm Experience – Not a Petting Zoo
Step onto a working Silicon Valley honey farm for a guided tour led by beekeeper Niki Canotas. This isn't a museum exhibit behind glass – it's the real thing.
What You'll Do
- Taste 6–8 honey varietals – from local wildflower to garlic honey, each one different because every hive tells the story of its neighborhood
- Taste real honeycomb – straight from the hive, unfiltered, unforgettable
- Learn the waggle dance – the way bees communicate. You'll do it too.
- Play with real beeswax and propolis – touch it, smell it, learn what bees build with it
- Walk through a working farm and orchard – cherry and apricot trees, real agricultural land
- Sit on real hive boxes at a live apiary and watch bees at work
- See an open beehive – live frames pulled from the hive, fresh honeycomb
- Hold a real bee – a drone (boy bee) that can't sting. This is the moment they'll talk about at dinner.
What You Take Home
- Wildflower honey stick pack (8 sticks – 4 light + 4 dark)
- Honey dipper with a coupon for your next visit
- A story no other kid in their class can tell
